Changing your JDK version (Private JVM plans)

All of our Private JVM plans have a tool located inside your cPanel for easy updates of the JDK version.

To change to a desired supported version, please follow these steps:

  1. Log into your cPanel account

  2. Access the “Private JVM” menu located in the "Mocha Tools (Paper Lantern) or Preferences section (x3 theme)

  3. Just below your JVM status window your will see a drop down menu labeled - “Change JDK version”

  4. Click on the button and select the needed version → Click “Apply”, your selected JDK version will be applied and your JVM restarted for the changes to take effect.
