How do I set up e-mail accounts in Netscape Messenger 4.01?
Step 1. Open Netscape Messenger. Step 2. Select Communicator, Messenger Mailbox from the menu. Step 3. Click Edit, then Preferences. Step 4. Click the plus sign (+) next to Mail & Groups. Step 5. Click Identity. In the Your name field, type your name as you want it to appear in your message's From: field. In the Email address field, type your actual email address. Step 6. Select Mail Server. Step 7. Under User Name, type email address, replacing the ampersand character (@) with the underscore character (_). Step 8. In the Incoming mail server box, type pop.example.com, replacing example with your actual domain name. Step 9. In the Outgoing mail (SMTP) field Mochahost recommends that you use the outgoing mail server for your ISP (your internet service provider). If you wish to use Mochahost's outgoing mail server, you can enter: smtp.example.com, (replacing example.com with your actual domain name.) Your Netscape Messenger is now configured to receive mail from your domain.
